Jake Ritchie has been in the wedding & music industry for over 15 years. He has performed over 2,500 times and averages about 55 or so weddings a year. In 2004, he became the first DJ in northern Virginia to win an industry recognized award for his performance. Four years in a row he won the Weddingwire.com Brides Choice Award, and won back to back awards in 2011 and 2012 for Washingtonian Magazine's Bride & Groom Best Vendor Award. Jake has also been praised in various print articles, wedding planning websites, and vendor blogs. In 2010, he became the president of the American Disc Jockey Association – D.C. Chapter helping to create new standards along with the educational tools to help other DJ’s succeed (raising the bar).
